- Route: Day 1: Lead Cove Trail (1.8) to Bote Mtn Trail (2.8) to West Prong Trail (.75) at Campsite 18 to spend the night. Day 2: West Prong Trail to Bote Mtn Trail (.75) to Laurel Creek Rd (1.2). Cross Laurel Creek Rd to Schoolhouse Gap Trail (1.1) to Turkeypen Ridge (3.4). End at Lead Cove Trailhead.

- Notes: Campsite 18 was almost full with 2 other groups. Good campsite with easy water access.
